SORRY NEITHER PIECE IS AVAILABLE ON CATCH-UP ANY LONGER. YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT ROUND OF MEDIA INTEREST!
Update: if you missed Helen on BBC Radio London, you can catch up online here. The whole piece runs from about 1:04 to 1:34. And if you missed the piece on BBC London TV news it's available on catch-up here but only until 6.30 on Tuesday 25 February.
BBC London TV cameras were in East Twickenham on Tuesday 18 February, filming our High Street shops and the site of the old Richmond Ice Rink. If you wondered what they were up to, they were filming for a piece on 'le village Belge sur la Tamise', the First World War Belgian community 'on the Thames' who worked at the famous Pelabon Munitions Works in Clevedon Road. Our own Helen Baker was interviewed about the background story. You can see the whole piece on Monday 24 February, in the BBC London news slot at 6.30pm.
And they weren't the only journalists onto the story. Helen will also be taking part in a piece about Belgian Refugees in London on BBC Radio London 94.9FM as part of the Robert Elms programme. Listen in between 1.10 and 1.30pm.
22 and 24 February; 4 March 2014
